Pioneer Day 2011

Today was Pioneer Day for our Stake. It was full of so many activities, good friends and food! I was being pulled in so many different directions, and my hands were full of bags of kettle corn, fresh squeezed lemonade, half eaten snow cones, a bottled water, and my camera!! Breakfast was yummy. Mike and Damien rode their bikes to the church early to help set up and flip pancakes. The weather wasn't too bad, thankfully. (FYI, the pics aren't in order, and I didn't want to mess with it, it would have taken too much time).

We had a special visit by the Fresno Fire Department (Bet your Pioneer Day didn't have THAT)!
They treated us to a spray down unlike any garden hose could do :)
The aftermath
Awesomeness
From all corners of the field, people were running to the water

Even missionaries ran through. Who could resist?!
The mother of all super soakers!
Took a look inside

Jesse's feet
He wanted to do the dunk tank, but his face doesn't show it

Congested Pioneer Parade. Didn't the Pioneer children walk and walk and walk? Probably was a lot safer!
High 5 on the Slide

Cotton Candy! Oh yeah!

We had a great day celebrating our Pioneer Heritage!
