We answered the call, and after I researched for the best promo night...we went!
We didn't know what to expect out of the boys behavior wise since baseball is well...3 hrs long!
To our pleasure, they were Great!
The weather was perfect!
No Cracker Jacks but it was .25 cent hotdog and free ice cream night! Oh yeah!
Mom knows how to pick 'em!
Loved the game highlights like Parker....
Rooting for the home team.......
Trying to read the player's names on the score board like the boys do when they play baseball on Kinect Sports......
The pitching.....
The catching...
The bonding.....
Comic relief....
There was just so much to see...the boys did not want to leave! They were soo good!
Loved the up and close visits
1....2.....3 strikes you're out!
As the boys would say....he scored a big home run!
91 mph....whoa...look at him!
Team Spirit
To Max and Jesse's dismay, we left shortly after this since Dad had work in the morning. Grizzly's ended up losing 9-8. Max and Jesse were sad and said they didn't want to cheer for them anymore :) I tried to tell them, even though your team loses, you stick with them, cause someday they will win.
They really wouldn't get too close to the mascots.....
Especially the "girl" one....
"Hey Dad, the bases are loaded."
(thank you Kinect Sports for teaching my boys the game of baseball)
We had great seats, so close to the action. Pop fly's right to our section. Max and Jesse anxiously waited each time for one to come to them...No such luck :(
Max loved his free wiffle bat!
We had a great night! And can't wait to go back to the old ball game!
Now we have to decide when to use our Free Kid Buffet vouchers from John's Incredible Pizza that we got with our tickets.
Decisions...decisions...
Hey Sarah! I just wanted to stop in and let you know that although I don't post comments that often, I still read your blog every time you update it. =) It is so much fun seeing all the little outings you guys have and all of your couponing/frugal adventures. We miss you guys! And by the way, Matt laughed at your comment about the bike. He got it for pretty cheap on Craigslist. It is his new baby at the moment. lol. Too bad we don't live near each other anymore - Matt and Mike could have gone on bike rides together.
